How to Import Presets & IRs into Kemper (Amp, Player, Stage)

Loading new tones into your Kemper Profiler takes minutes with the free Rig Manager software. Here's how to import Rigs (profiles) and IRs on the Amp, Player and Stage.

What you need

• Rig Manager (free from Kemper), installed on Mac or PC.
• A USB cable, or a USB stick for offline transfer.
• Your purchased Rig pack (files end in .kipr).

Import with Rig Manager (USB)

1. Connect the Kemper to your computer by USB and open Rig Manager.
2. Drag the .kipr files into My Profiler > Local Library.
3. The Rigs sync to your unit instantly — browse them from the Rigs button.

Import with a USB stick (no computer)

1. Copy the Rigs into a /Shared/Rigs folder on the stick.
2. Insert it into the Kemper and use Rig > Import.

Tips

Back up your existing Rigs first, and keep your OS up to date so every parameter loads correctly.
