How to Import Presets into Neural Quad Cortex (Cortex Cloud & USB)

The Neural Quad Cortex makes loading presets easy through Cortex Cloud or a USB drive. Here's how to get new tones and captures onto your unit.
Via Cortex Cloud (easiest)
- Create a free Cortex Cloud account and log in on the device (Settings > Cortex Cloud).
- Tip - To have the purchased presets/captures on your device, the third-party manufacturer must share them with you first (If you purchase our presets, upon downloading the digital product you will receive a PDF with a tutorial guide that explains what to do step by step in a simple and clear way!
- Add the purchased presets to your cloud library on your computer.
- On the QC, open the Cloud and download them to your local presets.
Via USB
- Put the QC in USB mode (Settings > USB).
- Copy the preset/capture files to the matching folders.
- Eject and reload — the tones appear in your list.
Tips
Captures load into a Capture block; pair them with a cab or IR block. Keep the firmware current for full compatibility.
